Patrick Roquas has more than 25 years of experience in equity markets, beginning his career at ING Barings as an equity analyst. In 1999, Patrick joined Kempen & Co., a vibrant Dutch investment bank with a focus on mid- and small-cap companies. In 2004, Patrick moved to Rabo Securities to head the Food & Agri equity research team, following the ambition of Rabobank to become a leading player in the Food & Agri sector. From 2016 to 2023, Patrick covered the European ingredient sector for Kepler Cheuvreux.

Patrick holds a master’s in financial economics from the Free University of Amsterdam.

Patrick has performed numerous financial and business analyses and covered different sectors and companies, including food and non-food retail, brewing, fast-moving consumer goods, ingredients, animal genetics and animal feed.

Patrick is knowledgeable in many dimensions of equity research, including fundamental and ESG research, IPOs, and M&A. He has a wealth of experience in interacting with investors and management. His work has been recognised with several industry awards.

During his career, Patrick has contributed to a range of equity issues, including Symrise, Grand Vision, Refresco, B&S Group, Avantium, Lucas Bols, For Farmers, Acomo and Benchmark plc.

Patrick’s competencies include strong financial analysis and modelling, deep sector expertise, clear and concise communication, attention to detail, and selling and relationship-building abilities. These skills are essential for evaluating companies, producing research reports, and advising clients.
